Here is a Beautiful, Head-Turning Old Truck from theFabulous 50's in Very Good Condition. A Very solid and mostly original survivor,it wasre-painted by the previous owner some years ago.I have used it regularly here on my ranch, and I have kept itinside in a barn out of the weather here in South Park Co. (Yes, South Park is a real place in Colorado). It is an Excellent Driver which runs, drives, and stops, just as it should, and could easily be someone's daily driver. The original 259 cubic inchV8 engine runs Very Strong, does not smok, and does not drip any oil on my garage floor...all of which goes to show just how well this oldtruck was made and taken care of over the years. It has a New coil, new plugs, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt brake master cylinder, and new front wheel brake cylinders. The floor mounted four speed transmission works and shifts exactly as it should. Most of the lights work including the headlights, tail light, brake light, the roof mounted searchlight, and inside dash lights. This is originally a Wyoming and Colorado truck. Both states are somewhat dry with low humidity, and as such, the body and other metal are excellent and solid with only a few minor bumps and small scrapes...there are no rusted-out areas including the floorboard. It also features a handsome, high-visibilty Wrap-around Windshield and Wrap-around Rear window glass which are in perfect condition, as are also the door windows...no cracks or chips. All the guages work including the oil guage, temperature guage, amp guage, and the fuel guage. The tires are driveable but are somewhat worn. The seat is in very good condition with no rips or tears. The original oil-bath air cleaner is missing and I have been using a clamp-on after-market one. The electric wiper motor works, but the linkage needs to be re-attached for the wipers to work properly. The Original owner's manual and service certificate are included. This is a really good truck in Overall Very Good Condition well suited for someone who wants a nostalgicand historic part of1950's Americana, and would like to drive and maintain a vehicle that is easy to understand and work on. There are only some small minor areas which could be improved should the new owner like to put his/her own personal touch to it. I have set a low starting price with no reserve to ensure a sale to some lucky guy or gal. I will also be listing it locally. If it helps out the new owner, I can store inside for up to 3mos. for no charge. After 3mos., I will charge a$10/day storagefee. Please Feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
