1991 Dodge Spirit R/T. Very rare. Chrysler only produced 1. 08 of these cars for the 1991 and 1992 model years. This is 1 of 434 produced in White. At that time these cars were: "The fastest mass produced 4 door sedan in the world" as they posted an impressive 14 second quarter mile time and a top speed of over 140+mph. (may not sound fast today. but back then. that was flying. especially for a 4 door sedan)The engine is a *2. 2L 16v DOHC Turbo/Intercooled* powerplant created by a joint venture between Chrysler and Lotus. It produces 224hp and 218lb/ft of torque. This car has zero modifications of any kind and is completely rust free other than the surface rust from where the paint faded. For those who know these cars you know how hard it is to find a rust free Spirit R/T. The head is not cracked and has never been repaired or welded. The car needs: New PaintNew dashNew headlinerNew tiresThe engine runs beautifully and the transmission shifts perfectly. No smoke out the tailpipe and it makes full boost and runs great. If you are brave enough to drive a 24 year old car across country. that's your choice. I highly recommend having it shipped. I just installed a brand new factory Chrysler Turbo III clutch disk. pressure plate. and TO bearing. resurfaced the flywheel and replaced the rear main seal with a factory OE Chrysler/Mopar rear main seal.
