For sale- one of the ultimate Super Bees ever built! The "Sinister Bee".
This comes out of my private collection of 1 of 1, high performance American Muscle cars. I have been collecting for over 30 years!
1 of only 30, 440 6-Pack, D21 pistol grip 4sp Charger Super Bees built.....and the only one in black....all black!Yes, that makes this 1 of one!
Gorgeous black interior, black dog dish wheels and factory stripe delete finish up the incredible look!
This original matching #s engine car, has just turned 11k original miles....let that sink in, 11k original miles. To go along with its killer sleeper looks, originality and low miles, is a cool history and great provenance. And the cherry on top....it is a factory N96 fully functioning Air Grabber car!!! Maybe the coolest feature on any car of that era!
This car was sold new in CA., where the original owner mothballed the motor and put in a built one, to drag race it. This story is not only documented in a cover appearance inMopar Collectors guide of Aug. 1994, but with almost 20 drag time slips, from various CA drag-strips, dated in the 1970s. Both an original copy of the magazine and the original time slips, come with the car. And the best part, and the crux of the article, the original #s 440- six pack engine, was put back in the car and remains there today.
The car was painted at some point, and the paint is excellent with one flaw the size of a 1/4 of a dime, and touched up. Easy to fix and blend, if desired. (I tried to show in a pic, which I can share with serious buyers) When I purchased the car, I brought it to the shop I use, Westech Automotive of Silver Lake WI. where they made sure the car would be at its best, for my regular "exercise" sessions. In that servicing, besides fluids and dyno tuning of the engine, it was discovered that the, early in it's life, drag racinghad beat up gears 2,3 and 4. After a lengthy search, original NOS gears, were located, purchasedand installed. The born with 2nd, 3rd and 4th are boxed and will accompany the car..... clearlyanother cool part of this special car's history. Once dialed in and ready to rip, it was put in to my collection, and enjoyed in season, a few times a month. The car runs mean and is a trippy time machine to drive. My son and I, have decided on another car, and are ready to move this amazing piece of history to the next caretaker.
