Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and... drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a sweet 1988 Dodge Dakota 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this Dakota to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and milage. On this specific Dakota there is nothing much to repot that isn't clearly visible. The hood is painted and the clear coat is pealing off the fenders. The body and frame is surprisingly rust free. The body over all looks good. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tailgate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheels show well and are wrapped with a new set of tires. Over all this truck is in great shape considering the age. You can clearly tell someone really cared about this truck. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets aren't all torn up and full of holes. The dash and headliner look good but the dash dose have a crack or 2 in it. The cloth bench seat is in good shape and comfortable. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot but the air conditioner didn't work for me. The audio system is original and works as it should. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Dakota appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.9L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering feels good, too. The brakes feel a little soft but still stop the truck just fine. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The 4wd has been tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Dakota has a good PA inspection until the end of September 2018. I personally really liked to drive this truck. It has that vintage feel that you just don't have with vehicles anymore. It drives surprisingly well and is in great shape for the age.
