1970 Dodge Dart - Original 340 4 speed car . Go Mang, optioned with tail strip, hood treatment and twin scoops (included, rally das, radio delete car (see fender tag picture for full decode, bench seat . I'll relay all as best of my knowledge :I bought the car approx 6 years ago to restor, not going to get around to i, no time . Car has a 340 which I was told was a 69 motor . Currently has a 727 automatic installe, clutch pedal still in place and includes rebuilt A833 4 speed with flywheel and bell housin, have Z bar and clutch release fork - most everything but clutch assembly and shifter/linkage . Car ran 6 years ago but has sa, carb is shot . Put a battery in it recently and motor spins fine . 8 3/4 rea, sure grip with unknown gearing but appear to be 4:89 or better . Front Kelsey Hayes disc, small bolt pattern all aroun, includes 2 rally wheels . Manual steerin, manual brakes .
Interior is all complete but not original viny, was r-done in velour at some point .
Rust is restricted to the bottom quarter of the car with the exception of a 10-12" section of passenger side trunk lip (see pic) which will need repair or donor sectioned in . Will need driver side floor pa, passenger side will need small patch . Will need front and rear quarters (in and out) and rocker repair . Included are two full rear quarters .Trunk floor is soli, window channels all solid (agai, all rust contained to bottom quarter) . Underneath has surface rus, sub frame solid with one or two areas may need addressing but spring perche, torsion bar "socket" area, etc appear solid . Some jack-ass had to add a stereo and cut a small section of the dash out that'll need a patch . Bought a nice hood shortly after buying the car (had a fiberglass hood) .
This car is very restorable and I had no reservations regarding the project as I do much metal work myself and know that replacement metal is everywhere and cheap ( I've restored two others ) . Always wanted a Go Mango 4-speed car but guess it'll have to wait ..... Air cleaner not included .
