Car description

Selling for another friend of mine near Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a factory F8 Dark Green Metallic L-code 1969 440-4V (HP) Dodge Charger R/T. Came from the factory with a green interior and a green vinyl top (triple green car when it was new). Some other notable options include, console automatic with bucket seats, power front disc brakes, AC, power steering, AM 8-track radio with a 3 speaker dash, light package with hood turn signal indicators and it also had factory rocker panel moldings (pretty rare option in 1969). We also believe it was a V88 stripe delete car originally. No remains of an R/T tail stripe can be found anywhere. The original fender tag has been missing off of the car for many years now. We have no idea where it is at currently. No build sheet was found in the car either, since all the seats were missing from it. The original dash VIN# plate is still there and in good shape. Driver's side rear trunk rain gutter VIN# stamping is still on the car. The original front top crossbar radiator support VIN# stamping is still there too. Car still retains it's original 8 3/4 rear end in back. It's just a partially empty housing (3rd member is missing), with both original axles still in place. The car does come with a 100% clean and clear Oklahoma title. The car does roll fine with no issues at all. The 15X7 inch Mopar cop car wheels and tires you see here on the car, are the ones that go with it.

This car has lived in Oklahoma for many many years. The frame rails are really nice on the underside of it, with the original paint still on them in a lot of places. The undercoating covers most of the original F8 Dark Green Metallic paint up on the frame rails. Car needs new floors, a new full trunk and new quarter panels installed on both sides. This car was in an accident many years ago. The current owner at that time, had the whole passenger's side rear clip of the car replaced, with a whole other section from a EK2 Go Mango 1970 Charger from the looks of it. There is also some FY1 Top Banana looking paint, on the right side of the tail panel there and on the lower right valance, plus the backside of the quarter panel. So, I assume maybe another section out of a 1970 Charger was used as well, when they did this repair many years ago. The 1970 Charger marker light is the obvious dead give away, that the yellow section was used from a 1970 Dodge Charger. I believe the orange section into the sail panel area was too. Some of the body work done in this section was really good. Around the very back/right side of the tail panel though? Not so much. The original 1969 E440 HP engine and matching BB 727 automatic transmissionwere yanked from the car many years ago and are long gone. We have no idea where they are at currently. Car does come with an original rebuildable 1969 E440 HP short block that is originally out of a 1969 GTX. The VIN# of the 1969 GTX is still stamped in the motor down by the oil pan. The hood on the car currently is okay, except the backside of it is rotted out from someone leaving it laying the ground. The deck lid is decent, but does have some rust out on the very back lip like some do. The driver's side fender is still the original one to the car and is pretty decent and workable. The passenger's side fender is off of a 1968 Dodge Charger. Car comes with a matching pair of primer grey R&L 1968 Dodge Charger fenders. The front valance on the car currently, appears to be the original one still to the car. Also included is some misc. spare parts, that are shown in one picture here on the auction.

Car is sold as is where is. This 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is a total project car. It has rust here and there plus some dents, but is a fairly solid Oklahoma car. It should be a good starting point for a muscle car project car for somebody out there though.

This will be a cash only deal for this car.

PayPal payments will be accepted. Full payment (in cash) on the car is due within 14 days of the auction ending and no later.

You can obviously pay for it with cash in person, when you come to pick it up. That's how most people do it anyway. It can be stored free of charge, a little while after the car has been paid for in full. That's if you require some time needed to come and pick it up ya know? Whatever the owner is cool with? A couple months shouldn't be a big deal with my friend. Please make all arrangements with him though.

If you need to talk to the owner of this car and ask him any questions? Please send me a personal message and I will hand off his cell phone number to you. I will try to answer any questions that you may have on the auction.

No non-paying bidders please, as they will be reported to eBay for non-paying bidder status and may receive an eBay item strike. Please look at all the pictures closely and judge for yourself if this car is what you really want and is worth purchasing for yourself. If you need any additional pictures of my friend's car here? Please send me your e-mail address and I will supply you with more pictures ASAP. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
