1968 Dodge Adventurer Sweptline pickup.
Now relisted (due to a buyer who failed to follow thru with purchase) with a Low BUY NOW Price!! :-)
318 cubic inch engine."3-on-the-tree" manual shift transmission
Upgraded interior.Nice aftermarket wheels.
VERY SOLID & Straight body, with only a few small areas of rust (one spot at the very rear of the driver's bed side @ the rear bumper; small rust bubbles on the top rear of both front fenders; & a small spot of rust thru on the driver rocker panel, & a few small rust pimples on the pass door). Door sills have been replaced & driver's floor has been patched. This is NOT a "Rust Bucket"! Door bottoms are solid, drip rails are solid, bed floor is solid, etc. etc. There are a few minor (very small) dings here & there from normal age/use, but you have to look really hard to find these. Front grill / headlight trim assembly (aluminum, I believe) is dented slightly next to the passenger side headlight.
This truck presents VERY WELL & all of these items noted are very minor when compared to the overall condition of this 50 year old truck. (Very few people will ever notice these small defects, unless they are pointed out.) You will be hard-pressed to find a vintage Dodge truck in this condition at this low price!
Needs a new rubber seal around the front windshield (the current rubber has cracked due to age). Brake lights don't work periodically (probably just a loose wire or a bad switch); & speedometer is inaccurate (might just need to have the cable lubed). Has not been driven for several months (I've been working overseas) so it will probably need a new battery, have the fluids changed, bleed brakes, etc. (normal "wake up from hibernation" maintenance).
Please look at pictures! I have tried to capture all known flaws/defects.
In fact, I have probably over-described the truck & over-emphasized the relatively minor defects. But I prefer to disclose all known defects UP FRONT so that the buyer has no surprises.
Please check my feedback, all of my buyers have been very pleased with their automobile & truck purchases from me! "Better than expected!" has been a common feedback. :-)
(Please Note: I am NOT a Dealer. I'm just a Private Party who has too many toys & not enough free time to enjoy them. I simply need to move a few of these along to a good home who will use & enjoy them.)
Gets decent gas mileage (16-18mpg) for a big V8! Very SOLID 68 Dodge!
I have tried to describe this very nice truck to the best of my knowledge.
I believe in disclosing all known defects up front so that there are NO Surprises or BS.That said, this is a 50 year old truck, so please don't expect it to be perfect.(Item is being sold AS IS, with no warranty expressed or implied.)
I believe that I have priced this truck Very Fairly, especially given the solid & mostly original condition!
Please feel free to ask me any questions. I will do my best to answer promptly.
Truck is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time.
Please only bid if you are willing to follow thru with the purchase. No Games please.
Deposit is due within 24 hours. Payment of balance is due within 3 days.
Shipping or pickup is normally expected within 1 month of auction end. (Please contact me prior to bidding if you require some other arrangements. I will try to accommodate anything that is reasonable.) I am willing to be flexible on the pick-up date, but the truck will need to be paid for in order for me to hold it. No Games please.
THANK YOU for your interest! :-)
