Up For Sale today is a 1949 Dodge D29 Wayfarer Roadster. It is 1 of 5420 Roadster produced that year. First of all, the body on the car seems pretty solid. It was amaturely restored in the early 90's. The paint on the car is showing signs of wear and could use a repaint if desired. The convertible is also an early production model as it has the removable door glass with the optioned vent windows. It has the original 6 cyl flathead with fluid drive trans. It does start good and will drive fine in the parking lot, but have yet to take it on the road. The brakes are a little soft but it does come with a new master cylinder that needs installed. I am trying to help sell this car for a friend, so we really dont know much about it. This was his father's prized possession and was left to him when he passed, and my friend is not really into cars so this has to go. Give me a call and I can try to answer any questions you may have.
