Very solid 1941 dodge cabover that has been grafted onto a 1993 chevy p30 chassis with a 350 and 4l80e automatic trans. It has hydraboost brakes with discs on the front and drum rear brakes, that are functioning properly. Power steering. The original seat has just been recovered with new foam burlap and vinyl and the seat frame was painted while apart. The transmission will need a computer controller to shift properly, tci sells one for around $600. The motor has an edelbrock carburetor that works great. The motor fires right up, good oil preasure, and runs cool but does smoke a little after it warms up. (not sure of the problem) the wheelbase is about 155" and the frame extends 14' past the back of the cab. The truck is still a project, but it does run drive and stop on a modern chassis. The body is very solid but has several dents as it was a work truck for many years. Milage shows just over 31,000. Oil pressure and temp guage are hooked up. Speedometer voltage and fuel guages inop. A ramp bed is included in the sale however it will take some modifications to make it fit on the chassis. You could go many ways with this truck, Car hauler ramp bed rat rod patina. My plan was to make a carhauler show truck out of it and put either a 12 valve cummins or a ls swap in it. There are only two small rust thru areas in the truck, one on the back bottom section of cab and the other under the driver side windshield wiper motor area inside cab. (see pics) Very very solid overall. I have the title for the 1993 chassis and have the title for the 1941 dodge coe. Very rare cab over engine truck here with all the coe exclusive trim in place. I have an extra lens and housing assembly for the left cowl light. 1941-1947 dodge truck cab parts should interchange for the interior and glass. I have done some hammer and dolly work on the cab since photos. All glass will need replaced. For any additional pics or questions feel free to call or text me 469 three three seven 5622 Mark. Thanks for looking. The vehicle is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
