Here it is. This is what I call a Unicorn from the 40's. Try and find another one.
This is a very original 1941 Dodge Luxury Liner D19 3 Window Businessman Coupe. Quite the Mouthful of a name. This is a very hard to find car in original condition with what I think is only 1 repaint over the original Battleship Gray.
The paint is definitely not perfect. The firewall still shows the original battleship gray. It's in driver condition. I'd call this a running driving project. You can drive it how it is and enjoy it while tinkering on it as you go.
It has been converted to 12 Volt and runs like a top. It starts up on the first crank every time. The "assumed" Original Flat 6 Cylinder is still in the car.
The previous owner changed out all the gauges to NOS Gauges that he found. So there's only 40 miles on the odometer. All gauges work. New wiper motor/system. (Hasn't been completely wired)... New EZ Wire Harness with Fuse block for easy change if needed.
I bought this car from a local Sonora, CA 74 year old who loved it but decided to sell it due to family reasons. I promised I'd find it a good home and someone who will take care of it.
The interior is in great shape. The guy we bought this from had just finished the carpet, seat, headliner, door panels and trunk in the car so it all looks new. I tried to take a lot of pictures to show all the detail. California Clear Title and registered for the road. I'm told this was an original CA Car and has been here its entire life.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I can provide more info or more pictures. Don't miss out on this Rare Gem. Thanks again
