NO RESERVE! THIS CAR WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.
This is a neat car. What we have here is a 1967 Coronet R/T 440 4 Speed Dana car,Black with Black interior.Red pinstripes, buckets console, two fender tag special order car that has been off the road and stored inside since 1972.Both fender tags are intact (see pics). The frame rails and all floors are as solid as solid can be,and all of the body panels are solid as well, except a small amount of rust on both lower quarters behind the rear wheels (see pics),thats it as far as rotted rust goes.If these cars could talk they could tell the story, from what we can read from this car is that it was raced(battery tray in trunk on passenger side) and at some point the owner must have wanted to go faster,so the entire drivetrain was removed(There is no engine, trans, driveshaft or dana rear end in the car)it has a 8-3/4 rear end in it with no center chunk, aka gears, just axles and backing plates/brakes.Ok next, we think the special order on fender tag was to put a plain black hood on it(without the decorative scoop)for the "sleeper" effect, because the plain flat hood on the car matches the rest of the cars Original Paint (its been on the car since day one) its drilled for hood pins but not drilled for the scoop(and never has been),(however we do have a scoop that goes along with the car,see pics). The paint on the car shined up with just an amateur buffing, however its not perfect, its up to the new owner as which way to go with this one,it would be cool to make it mechanically reliable and drive it with body as is,passenger door has a dent right by the door handle. Also missing is the console, four speed pedals and shifter and all linkage, also missing gas tank,as we all know, all of these parts are available, just call up your favorite reproduction parts supplier and start ordering. The glass in the car is in very good shape, except it needs a new windshield. The car also has all exterior R/T emblems and trim, and they added a pair of 440 magnum emblems one to each front fender(see pics).Oh yeah speaking of pics,i can only post 24 here,i have a ton of pics available, just ask.Has large drums all around none are stuck it rolls easy.Power steering,no ac.Seat belts are in the trunk. The car will need a total restoration, there is no radiator. The wheels and tires that are on the car are not the originals and are NOT included in this auction(they are 14s anyway) and aftermarket 15 inch magnums are available from the aftermarket and look much better anyway. It will have 14 inch steel wheels with tires that will hold air and roll onto a trailer for shipping.Clear Missouri title, and the inspection sticker from 1972 on the windshield says that more than likely it has been in Missouri its entire life.1 of 1355 440 4 speeds made.If your gonna do a car, this is the one to do,nothing hiding under the paint and its a really cool combo. Also NOT included(but available to the buyer to purchase separate),we have a Hemi four speed transmission dated 1968 and a complete 1968 440 engine(no bellhousing).Good luck, bid to win,NO RESERVE.Be sure to ask any questions before bidding.$500 dollar deposit required within 48 hours of auctions end.On Sep-03-17 at 18:49:44 PDT, seller added the following information:
