Rare options combination make this a very rare Mopar. Original drive-train from gas cap to exhaust. First the bad:Needle for speedometer is broken (odometer works and shows actual miles). Horn button missing. Grill has damage. Front bumper has bent spot- otherwise nice. Trim damaged on driver's fender near bumper. Trim missing from drivers fender. Trim piece missing from drivers side bed lower rear piece near bumper. Driver's side tail light damaged. Driver's window handle stripped out. A/C Heater blower need work at fuse box. And that's it. Everything else shows appropriate weathering but functions. Truck was not washed for pics or video. This is a rare find. H Code Dodge Trucks are rarer than Hemi Roadrunners. These trucks were sold in very limited numbers and very few prime examples exist today. One would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of this rare truck. This truck was bought new in 1978 by a local gentleman. After many years he passed and the truck was taken to his friends house. The friend never licensed the truck or drove it. After this friend passed away a third friend took possession of it and it has sat there every since. Since neither of the two friends of the original owner transferred the title into their name this is technically a one owner truck. There is evidence of at least a partial respray early in the life of this truck. There is over spray on a few places under the hood and the truck is also missing its "Diesel Power" decals on the fenders and tailgate. The DODGE decal on the tailgate is a factory decal for a 1978 Adventurer D200 but would not have been on a diesel truck (from what little information I can gather. I could be wrong about this. ) One guy told me the original owner had it repainted at the dealership but. there is no documentation to back up this claim. The one paint job its had in its life is a factory color respray. Truck shows no signs of ever being in a major accident. The blower motor for the A/C and heater has an issue at the fuse box. Owner says he may have another fuse box. Will update if that is found. Truck runs and drives well with exception of the brakes needing bled from sitting too long and forth gear seems hard for me to get right- could be my lack of skills. View video for more detail. All of the lights. turn signals and reverse lights work. Inside dome light works. AM radio works. Wipers work. There are 104. 37 miles on this truck most of which were on the highway pulling a small boat. I didn't mess with the CB radio as its not factory to the truck. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a very rare Mopar that no one else will have in their collection. This is a running driving time capsule. The stickers alone are impressive. Some factory hose clamps still in place. Factory Radiator Cap Paint still on the studs. Frame rails have surface rust only. Underside of bed. Interior is very good for a truck of this age and mileage. International buyers please contact before bidding. Sale is for above truck as is where is.
