You are bidding on a beautiful, rust-free, TRUE Big Block 1966 Charger with a 383ci V-8 and air conditioning. Everything works including the AC except the flip up lights. This Charger is super solid, with a straight body and nice interior. She’s in great mechanical condition too! No issues! Fly in and drive this baby home!
The Body. is very solid, nice, shiny, and straight with a decent driver-quality paint job with no swirl marks! The body was repainted the turquoise color some years back by a previous owner. There are no dings or dents, paint has good depth with no fading or peeling paint. There are some chips here and there since it has been driven and enjoyed. The body has 101K and most everything is original and the owner believes the motor is too!
The condition of the chrome and brite work is in very nice condition as is the glass and weatherstripping.
All of the windows, doors, trunks, and hood all operate, lock and unlock.
The Ivy Gold Interior is in nice original condition. The original bucket seats are in very nice soft shape with no rips or tears. Console is in great shape with just some minor wear. Headliner is in nice condition. Carpeting is original and is showing its age but is intact. The original door panels are decent with some cracks as pictured. Dash pad is cracked and has a cover overlay.
Everything works on the dash at this point. (lights, directionals, horn, heater controls cigarette lighter, etc. Even the Air Conditioning still works.
The Drivetrain is original from what the previous owner has stated. The 383 engine purrs nicely with no noise, smoke or leaks. Just turn the key and she starts right up! A previous owner upgraded the 2bbl intake to an Edelbrock intake and carb. Also the ignition was upgraded too. Transmission recently had a shift kit installed and it works perfectly. Steering and brake systems operate as they should. This car does make the car show circuit so you know you’re getting a very nice car!
The Undercarriageis in nice condition too. Floor pans and frame are original and in great condition. Super solid with no rust or patch panels. Just some of the factory undercoating still remains.
The exhaust system was converted to headers and a dual “H” pipe system.
All the brake and fuel lines are original and in great shape.
New BFG tires on all 4 corners.
Other info: Factory jack is present, aftermarket radio and rear speakers are installed. No receipts to speak of since it’s mostly original.
The car is in pretty much original condition except for the repaint and some minor engine improvements. She has been driven and has some flaws but over all it’s a very nice example of a ’66 Charger that you can take to a cruise or take it up to the next level of restoration.
Car comes with one set of factory keys and clear Ohio title stating 99,999 ACTUAL miles.
I realize that it is difficult to purchase a vehicle you may not be able to inspect in person. I build vehicles too – so I try to show you everything I would want to see if I was buying a vehicle for myself. As you can see by my feedback (100% positive), I describe my vehicles accurately. I have sold other vehicles on eBay to happy buyers worldwide so you can be confident when making a purchase.
I have made my best effort to accurately represent the car based on my expertise as a vehicle builder, what I have observed in evaluating it and preparing it for sale, and what I have been told by the owner, but this is the extent of my knowledge. Please ask questions before bidding! This is being solid AS IS with no warranty or guarantees and is up to the buyer to verify any and all info listed above in the description! This vehicle is also for sale locally. You are welcome to arrange a viewing of this vehicle. Again, this is a classic vehicle that has been driven and enjoyed. It’s not perfect or a museum piece so there may be minor imperfections in the body, brite work and glass. Anything to note is listed above.
