Car description |

Up for your consideration today, is this 1987 dodge ramcharger. I bought this vehicle for parts, pulled what I needed for my project, and decided to sell the rest. The parts I removed include the rear side window panels, all of the headliner trim, the fuse box cover, door panels, and maybe a few other small interior pieces.
The vehicle itself is actually in very restorable condition, but I have too many irons in the fire. The doors, rocker panels, and floor pans have very little rust. However, the lower rear quarters would need some repair work, but the wheel wells seem to be rust free as well. The frame is also in great shape. It appears that the front fenders may be aftermarket.
The 318 engine runs and yard drives well with no smoking of any kind, but it seems to have a fuel delivery problem of some kind. At speeds of 35-40 mph it acts as if its starved for fuel. This could be as simple as a fuel pump or a fuel filter. I have not looked into it. The transmission was able to be road tested before the fuel delivery problem started, and it seems to shift fine. The 4x4 also works as it should.
As far as mechanical issues go, I know that the right front brake caliper is sticking, and the power steering box is worn out (sloppy) and leaking like most of these old dodges are. All of the lights and gauges appear to be working. This is by no means an everyday driver (last registered in 2012) but it could be made into one with a little effort.
The truck will drive onto a trailer for transport, but no battery is included. My price is flexible hence the or best offer button, but please be reasonable in your offers. There's no need to waste my time or yours. I am willing to work with your shipper if YOU make all arrangements before hand
