THIS RAMCHARGER GETS LOOKS. THE STORY. In eastern SD a relative spotted this truck sitting neglected under a tree in a pasture which he quickly took advantage of. A few hundred dollars later with new plugs. wires. distributor. battery. belts. tune-up. a mis-matched tire. etc. it was on the road. I fell in love upon driving the beast (which we have affectionately named SNORT) so purchased it and for the past 5 years have been detailing it. investing a bit into the mechanicals. & shuttling my son and his friends to choir practice during the summer months. It is definitely the baddest choir-boy shuttle around as we roll into the church parking lot with AC-DC blasting out the windows! Reason for selling is to invest into something more practical for my son as he begins driving soon. GOODS. Runs & drives very strong and straight. 4 fresh tires. Rebuilt AC. Rims have been blasted. primed. & powder coated. Only one. quarter-sized rust blister on exterior with underside and wheel wells being very clean. SD truck and has been stored indoors each winter here in MN so my guess is it has never been on salted roads. Interior is beautiful being back seat and trunk area appear to have never been used. Front headliner has been replaced with vinyl. Dash top has no cracks! New trunk shocks. New stereo & speakers. Cruise works as do power windows & locks. It has a very cool "shelf/tray" running the full width of the cab up by the visors. Windshield is very good with only one minor chip which was professionally filled this past summer. Driver side window was professionally replaced this past spring. BADS. By no means is this truck perfect. It looks very hot from a couple paces away however as you next to it you will find some nicks & scratches. Portions of the truck were repainted at some point however I cannot find noticeable body work. Clearcoat failing on most all horizontal surfaces. Passenger side door sags slightly when open. A body-man told me the bushings need replacement as typical with these heavy doors. Rear headliner is sagging in spots. Few minor scratches on face of dash as well as center console. No major interior blemishes however. At close inspection you will find some of the chromed trim pieces have surface pitting. my guess from sun damage?? The rest of the chromed parts (bumpers. mirrors. etc) are very nice. OTHER. Hood ornament and emblem were removed as had begun prepping for new paint. I have them both so can be re-installed. Pushers have been removed from front bumper as well as the receiver hitch from back. I have an extra grill in the same shape as the one shown here along with a few other parts that will go with the sale.
