Car description

For you consideration is a 1967 Dodge Coronet 500. I have too many projects and need to clear some space. My loss can be your gain.
Car starts and runs well. Originally an AC car, but engine bay hardware and lines have been removed. The AC ducts and vents are intact. Car has a 318 ci V8 with Holley Dominator intake and Edelbrock 4bbl carb. Car has a 727 automatic transmission and 8 3/4" rear end (not sure the ratio). Car has power steering and standard drum brakes. Has air shocks. Body is solid with some old patch repairs in the quarters around the wheel well openings. Floor pans and trunk are solid. Paint is average, but cleans up nicely. Tires are Mastercraft with 80%+ tread. Since I have purchased I have added brand new "cop" wheels (15x7") with rally wheel center caps, new fuel sender, fuel line, electric fuel pump, & battery. I also upgraded to a later (square back) 65 amp alternator and voltage regulator. The interior is nice overall with only 1 tear in driver's seat about 1" long. Dash has been painted silver. I have a replacement (used good condition) Coronet 500 glove box door, new console door with hardware, and locks for the console and glove box. I have also acquired some of the correct lettering that should be on the quarters and deck lid.
Known issues. The car had sat for awhile before I purchased. As such the chrome valve covers and air cleaner have some surface rust as do some of the interior trim. The spots on the trim are light. There are 2 spots of damage, the driver's side rear bumper and driver's side valence around the headlight. These spots are in the photos. Side mirror is in place, but internal adjustment cable is missing (easily replaced). The driver side trim/seal on the quarter window is missing. Speedometer works, other gauges not so much. Lastly, as with many Mopars of the era this one leaks some water. Most likely the windshield wiper arm seals need replaced.
Winning bidder is expected to make a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of auction close. Balance of purchase price is expected within 7 days of auction close. Car is for sale locally as well and I reserve right to end auction early if no bids have been made.
