1924 Dodge Brothers sedan, stored since 1956, now in good running condition. As explained to me by the sellers family; car has had only one owner, Fred Shelley of NY, who drove it on weekends. NY plate 6P 54-59. He died in 1956 and the car was stored. The storage barn had a roof leak an, as you can see from the picture, the water rotted a good sized hole in the base of the front right fender. The rest of the car is rock solid with only a light rust patina. All original interior, door panels, and headliner in pretty good shape. One right rear glass cracked, rest good. Car starts right up after sitting months. Original 12 volt system. Accelerates, steers, stops well. Five brand new tires and tubes purchased and installed at a cost of almost $1500. Motor doesn't smoke or knock. Cooling system does not leak. Clutch and transmission work well. Over time, the title was lost and I can only provide a bill of sale. This Dodge is TRUE barn find, a real time capsule. Nothing has been changed or updated (except oil, battery, and tires).
