Car description

Up for auction is a 1969 Dodge Charger. Originally a 318/904 car...here is the story.I bought this from a local guy here in the Denver area. It originally came from California (had a California title). He said the car was used in a bank robbery back in the 70's, and was impounded, at which time the dash was removed..and with it..the vin tag. I had to have the car inspected by the State Patrol, and a new VIN assigned by the State of Colorado. I bolted in a non-rally dash frame, and the new vin was attached to it. Then...was able to apply to the State of Colorado for a new Rebuilders Title, which I have in hand. My idea was to resto mod, so I was going to put in custom dash with modern gauges, so I didn't care if the dash was non-rally. The steering column is incorrect, but usable to steer it around the yard and onto a trailer. As the pictures show, the car is a restoration waiting to happen. The quarters can be saved for sure with a minor patch. Needs work around the rear window, of course. Floor is okay, needs trunk pan, frame rails are good. Good doors and front fenders. The windshield is from a Satellite, and just sitting there to keep the snow out. The hood and trunk lid are usable. I have the rear side glass, a rear seat core, enough parts to construct a useable grille. What is seen in the pictures is what goes with the car. No motor, no trans, no other parts. This is a great "blank canvas" 69 Charger, it is a solid starting point to whatever level you want to take it to. I have seen cars sell on here that looked to me to be unsaveable sell for more than my reserve price, so bid with confidence. If you are looking at this, you know how hard it is to find a 69 Dodge Charger in any condition, so here is your opportunity. Car is sold as-is, where-is with no warranties written or implied. This is a project car. If you have zero feedback, contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled. This car was made in the USA and stays in the USA, no out of country buyers please.
