1965 Dodge Dart ProTouring/ Auto cross project.All the hard work is done.What I started with. A low miles rust free car. 28,000 to be exact./6 carThe car was media blasted to bare metal. Epoxy primed and body work started. This car was going to be built as a fun weekend car.Well things changed.So where do I start. First exterior body modifications. Drip rails are removed Front hood emblem removed and the hood has been re peaked for a better flow. All the trim has been removed and filled.Custom machined hood heat extrcaters have been fabricated. plished and then anodized in bright black.Interior dash has been reworked for a race pack style dash from Dakota digital. Bowler push button start is also incorporated into the dash.Now where it gets interesting.Car tool sub frame connectors are welded in place along with there torque boxes front and rear.Out back is a Ford 9 inch custom built to my specs to get the rear wheels to sit in just right.Custom built composite leaf springs built be Flex form where built for the car. they ride on rear sliders. New 3.50 center section with detroit locker.All new QA1 shocks. Front Suspension has been changed to a HDK coil over set up with power rack and pinionMotor.4 cylinder SRT4 motor is what we started with. the motor in the pictures is just for mock up. So I could build the custom Oil pan/ Intake and twin scroll exhaust manifold.The motor is being build and will come with the car.All forged internals. Manly Rods. Custom machined pistons from DCR racing. Pro series Head from DCR racing. Billet cam gears.Crane cames and a Borgwarner S256RS turbo. New injectors.The motor is being built for E85.Estimated horse power 630 Yes you just read that right 630 HP at the wheel.transmission is a MA5 5 speed manualCustom Twin scroll intake manifold was fabriacated using scedule 10 stainless tube. Custom built sheet metal intake and custom built oil pan.The bumpers have been re chromed. NOS tail lights and front marker lights. Ididit tilt steering column. Billet specialties D shaped steering wheel. New radiator. new intercooler.Wilwood brakes all the way around. 14 inch up front and 13s out back. Read calipers.Wilwood master and prop valve. Bowler clutch slave cylinder set up. Tilton adjuatable hydraylic throw out bearing.I'm sure I'm missing some things. All parts are new.Wheels are 18x9 rear 18x8 front with 2 sets of tires.again all new. the set that is on the car where bought for mock up. they are new but mismatched. A new unmounted set of Nitto INVO tires come with the car.Reserve is set way below what the the drive train alone cost.This is your chance to get into a project with the majority of the big ticket items way below cost.
