Car description |

A beautiful example of an original survivor pickup truck with NO RUST anywhere. According to the paperwork I have on the vehicle, it was delivered to a dealership in Alabama in 1985. The truck spent part of its life in the Huntsville Alabama area until 2002 when it was brought to the Phoenix Arizona area. I purchased the vehicle in the Spring of 2014 in Arizona. I personally drove this truck across the country from Arizonato the Chicagoland area and have enjoyed it since. This truck was never driven in the winters here. Along with regular maintenance,I have only needed to replace minor items such as tires, belts, and wiper blades.
The truck runs and drives well. I take this truck anywhere. The slant six runs smooth andI have never needed to add oil in between oil changes. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts well and the truck brakes without pulls or vibration. The exhaust is a littlenoisynear the front of the truck which has been that way since I purchased it. The heater blows hot. The faded paint is original and hides no rust or rot. There are minor dings, dents, and scratches. The biggest dent is on the passenger door and can be seen in the pictures. The glass is in good shape with only adime sized chip and a quarter sized chip in the windshield. No spider web cracking in the glass. Drivers side window needs a little help up and down butis easy to maneuver. Interior is also original with some splitting on the drivers side seat as seen in the pictures. The dashhas no cracks.I have abrand new turn signal switch for the truck as the one in the vehicle appears to have broken inside the steering column. However, all the lights and turning signals work. The bed of the truck, floor boards and roof rail are all solid metal, no rot.The car will also be sold with a brown topper/shell that fits the bed of the truck well (It was attached when driven back from Arizona and still used occasionally).
Some interesting paperwork will go along with the truck including the delivery receipt to the dealership back in 1985 and what looks to be the original window sticker.
I have tried to represent this truck as accurately and honestly as possible. If you have any questions, pleaseask as there is a $300 non-refundable deposit to be paid if my reserve is hit with full payment within 7 days in person cash or wire transfer. Please only bid if you want to own this beautiful survivor truck. Thanks for viewing.
