1976 4X4 Warlock. Guaranteed 100%. No Clone. No Junk. The Real Deal! This 1976 4X4 Warlock is the REAL DEAL. Guaranteed 100%. The original title ( Clear States / Warlock ) from the South Dakota dealership. Also the frame is Factory Stamped on the drivers side between the cab and bed ( Warlock 0707 ). At present I'm in contact with the dealership where the truck was purchased new for all documentation other then the original title. Plus the 4X4 Warlock was a very limited production. TRUCK This 1976 Dodge Warlock is one of only 20 limited edition concept trucks made for production. with potentially only a few left in running condition today. This truck is in near original condition with many improvements such as a completely sand blasted and powdercoated frame. upgraded suspension. brand new tires. upgraded exhaust. restored bed rails. custom bumpers and lighting with Warn winch. updated dodge seats. new dash. new carpet. original 360 block bored over to a 408 included. current motor running is a 318. This truck is beautiful with only a few improvements left to bring to full restoration. The truck drives great. sounds great. and is an eye catcher to anyone who was a young man in the late 70’s and/or Mopar enthusiasts. Some improvements to be made are as follows: There is a radiator leak and transmission leak between the tranny and the engine. There is some hail damage on the hood and top of the cab but that can be fixed with dentless repair. The speedometer is not working at the moment (though it is new). There are some rust spots on the front quarter panels though not very severe. Body is solid. Windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. Other than that it's probably 90% restored/original. New front replacement quarter panels are included along with DODGE lettering. We have every single receipt for the vehicle so you can see what was purchase and used in restoration. and we have owner history as well. This truck is currently garaged until purchased. HISTORY The Dodge Warlock. originally a concept vehicle and part of Dodge's late 1970s "adult toys" line. is a short wheelbase truck that was produced in limited production in 1976 of 20 trucks and regular production from 1977 to 1979 under the Dodge name brand by the Chrysler Corporation. They were available in 4x2 and 4x4 models and offered only in black. red. orange or green; later in 1979 it was available in 6 colors. Its main draw was that it was a factory customizable truck. also known as a "trick truck". and was designed to appeal to young 4x4 buyers. The Warlock featured custom wheels. wide tires. bucket seats. a Utiline bed. and oak racks for the bed. Optional equipment included five-spoke wheels. bucket seats. tinted glass. bright rear bumper. and power steering. All had black interiors accented by gold tape on the dash and the doors. and a "tuff" steering wheel. Like the standard pickups. though. it had front disc brakes. and a standard slant six. the exterior was accented by gold pinstriping around the wheel wells and the body lines. the pinstriping continued inside onto the doors. dashboard. and instrument panel. Warlock was printed in gold on the tailgate. The 1979 model however is different in that it has "Warlock II" printed on the tailgate. It appears that all normal engine options were available. It could have come with the standard straight six. the 318 with either the 2 barrel or 4 barrel carburetor. the 360. the 400. or the 440. The 318 appears to be the most common engine selected. But without the build sheet or some other documentation. all you have unfortunately is a D100 that may or may not be a Warlock. Could be a clone. or could be real.
