Car description |
---|
1965 Dodge Coronet 500 two door hardtop. Older restoration from the 1990's that is showing its age but is still driver quality. Originally white exterior with red interior. 318 Poly V-8 with rare dealer optioned 2 x 4 Barrel carburetors/manifold. Automatic on the console, with bucket seats. Power steering. Car runs and drives great but needs some carburetor adjustment as it does not like to idle when cold. Exhaust leak on passenger side manifold gasket.
Engine has a nice lope to it and throaty exhaust note. Tires and brakes are good. Car is very solid in the floor pans, trunk and most of the body. Rust bubbles appearing on Passenger front fender and passenger lower door edge, and front of driver's side wheel well (areas shown in photos). All glass is good. Interior is very good. No tears/visible wear on the upholstery. Carpet is original and decent in appearance for age. This is a very complete car, with most, if not all trim pieces, hubcaps, and components. Car is an excellent restoration candidate or can be driven and enjoyed the way it is. Hagerty lists the value of a number 4 (fair) condition car at $10,000. This car is better than fair.
Please contact me with any questions at 720-252-4835. I can send a link to hear the car start/run upon request. Car can be inspected in Fresno, CA by appointment prior to end of auction.
