Car description

What I have here is a true thing of beauty; a 1967 Dodge Coronet 440 Station Wagon! This car runs. and drives. and does all the other stuff any other car will do. but with class and sophistication!! How often do you see these? Not very. This car has been on multiple Hot Rod Power Tours. and been a spectacle at many car shows. This car comes equipped with a powerful. yet numbers matching. 318 that has been bored . 040" over. The 2-barrel intake has been replaced with a 4-barrel intake. and the carb is an Edelbrock 1406 rated at 600 cfm. Power steering makes this gem easy to turn. while power brakes make it easy to stop. The 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission is also original to the car. and shifts very smoothly. Rounding out the rear. the 3. 23 ring gear doesn't make any noise. She also rolls down the street with ease on 14" American Racing Torq Thrust D rims with 205/75R14 Hankook Optimo tires. One minor issue is the A/C. While most of the components are there. the compressor hasn't been installed. thus making it a bit more difficult to get the cold air flowing. Heat works GGGggrrrreeat!!!Some minor things that have been replaced on the car are the power brake booster. the radiator has been swapped for an aluminum radiator. has an Optima Red-Top battery (rated at 1000 CA!!!). the fuel tank and sending unit have been replaced. and the front drum brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes from a 1970 'Cuda! Now. as with any classic vehicle that's been around the block. there are some minor things that may or may not need to be addressed. The interior. while comfy. could use a little freshening up. Also. there are a couple of rust bubbles showing up on the corners of the doors. but nothing that a little TLC couldn't fix. That leaves the paint. While this is not the glossiest paint job there is. well. let's face it. It's Primer. A paint job would complete this beauty. You may be asking yourself. "Self. why would he be selling such a looker?" This is a good question. My family has fallen on some hard times just like everyone else. and unforseen circumstances (medical bills mainly) force me to sell this rolling museum. I would LOVE to keep her. and do her justice!! But. my family comes first. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY. AND REMEMBER EBAY IS A BINDING CONTRACT . OU BID YOU MUST FOLLOW UP THE TRANSACTION. PLEASE NO GAMES. ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS AND NOT AFTER!!!
