You are reviewing a 68 Dodge D100 Long Bed that is being powered by a 67 Mustang 289 and a 94 Crown Vic Police automatic overdrive (AOD). Dual exhaust exiting out the sides thru Flowmasters. Yea she rumbles with authority. Sitting on handsome. but rugged. 22" wheels with 6 ply truck tires. Lowered slightly to accomodate the look of the 22's. Manual drum brakes recently redone. Has dual master cylinder. Takes a little leg but you will appreciate it once you get use to it. Manual steering that once again. when you get use to it. will be appreciated. Kind of fun to feel the control. Does have a little play but does not wander. These old farm trucks were designed with a little give and take so you didn't break your hand when hitting a rut. No apparent suspension woes. Remarkably solid truck. The bed is perforated with rust where the bed floor meets the sides. Still not flimsy. These things were built. The body and frame are extremely solid. Very nice patina. This truck is good candidate for repaint if you are not into this look. Engine and trans are solid. but I do find transmission fluid leakage when the truck is not driven for a while. Speedo. voltage and temp gauges work. Gas and oil does not. Currently full of non-ethanol gas. Lights and wipers work. Front signals work but not the back. Horn not hooked up. Great big semi battery. Glass good with no cracks. Windshield smoky at bottom. Other glass all clear. Smart looking interior. For legal purposes. being sold "as is". Listed locally. so I reserve the right to end this auction early. Buyer responsible for pickup. Overseas buyers welcome. but you do the leg work. Only $200 deposit due within 48 hours after end of auction. via PayPal. Rest due within 7 days of auction via any means. However the truck will not be released until funds are verified and clear. Happy bidding! On Jan-11-15 at 05:36:48 PST. seller added the following information:Just wanted to mention. the rear turn signals are now functioning. but are dim in the daylight. due to the worn transparancy of the tail light lenses. Fronts already good. The headlights function fully with bright/low beam custom aftermarket tribars. This truck will not place in the Amelia Island Concours D'elegance but will have motorheads swarming at your local cruise in. And is always a strong contender in the rat rod category of any car show.
