Car description

1970 Dodge Dart 440/72, Dana 60Car starter life as a 6 cylinder green on green Dart Custom. It retains it's original rust free body panels except for the drivers door and hood, they were replaced when I got the car and I suspect parking lot damage. The blue hairs smash into each other in my area of the country. All panels line up correctly and fit well.Car has beenrotisserie restore, has new weatherstripping and a new vinyl top.I own an auto repair / restoration shop and this is one of my personal cars. I say this so you know all work is professionally and skillfully done.
Engine... 440 with small chamber 915 heads, steel cran, forged pistons, roller rockers. Cam matches converter and gears well. Idles well and behaves in traffic.Has dual Spal fan, custom shroud and aluminum radiator, runs cool in the dead of summer.High output alternator, MSD Ignition. Nitrous system has a separate fuel system, and has never been used.
Transmission.... 727 / Bolt in sprag, Turbo action valve body (not manual) Alto reds ect.. 2500 converter.
Rear end ....Dana 60 3.55 gears. 35 spline axles.
Chassis... Sub frame connector, Widened rear wheel wells, springs moved in to frame. Calvert Racing springs and Caltrac bars. Disc brakes with line lock on the front, 11 inch drums on the rear. Stainless brake and fuel lines. Custom built wheels
Body... All new interior. All gauges work. Retained heater and fan ( big deal with the big block), heater core is not hooked up. Has a vintage Pioneer Super Tuner/ cassette deck, 5 channel amp. The Sub woofer box is custom built to fit in the spare tire well.
Car has never been raced. I took it to the Mopar nationals twice, it was show and shine. Has less than 500 miles since built .
Flaws..... The clear on the drivers 1/4 panel and the drivers fender has some bubbles, there is also a spot on the pass side panel between the deck lid and back glass. See pictures. Transmission shifts very hard at light throttle. I feel this can be adjusted out with the linkage, but may need the valve body changed out for a more street friendly one. The seat belt has scratched the drivers door.
Car drivers well and is fast and fun. Pre-purchase inspection is welcomed and encouraged. I have a lift. $500.00 in 24 hours, full payment in 7 days.
