Car description

Ready for the car shows or cruise-ins, this beautiful example of the 66 Dodge Dart will get you thumbs up from the admiring crowd as you cruise down the boulevard or pull in to your local cruise-in. Many people recognize these as a true muscle car, and these classics are very popular, especially for drag racing because of their lighter weight.

Squeezed under the hood is a 375 hp 383 cubic inch big block tied to a 727 automatic with Lokar shifter and a 355 positraction rear. The beautiful 17 inch mags and like new low profile tires complete the cool looks of this tri-color custom painted Dart.

The early Darts have always been a favorite among hot rodders, and it would be nearly impossible to find one nicer looking than this. Electric steering was just added to this, and not only is the steering as good as any other power steering, just a turn of the key makes the power steering work even if the engine is not running. Try that with a regular power steering car. The front brakes are disc, and the rear are drum.

All lights, signals, gauges ( except amp - use volts instead ), horn, and wipers work. The radio and heater are not connected. The interior is in near perfect condition. The dash looks gold in the picture, but it is black. The gold is an overhead light reflection. The tilt wheel lever broke off, but the column can be adjusted using a screwdriver until proper repair is made. Floors, trunk, and undercarriage show no rust at all. I see no evidence of repair or filler in the body or anywhere in the car. All metal is original. Car has a slight transmission fluid leak ( most 727's do ) when sitting overnight, but it runs, drives, and stops very good. Previous owner reversed the shackles to lift the rear, making for a stiff ride. I have purchased a set of air shocks so the shackles can be changed back to stock and still be able to gain the rake to accommodate the larger rear tires. The shocks will go with the car since I am unable to install.A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction with balance in full received within 7 calendar days of auction end.
