Car description

1968 Charger 383 Auto AirBucket SeatsConsole
Acquired this Charger recently in a trade not expecting to keep it. It is a Green Car with Green interior, It has the 383 Magnum Engine 727 Tranny and the 83/4 Pumpkin. There is no fender tag.
Mechanically this car seems to be in good driver's condition. The engine starts easily and runs smooth and strong. The tranny shifts thru all the gears as it should and no noises from the rear end. The power drum brakes work as they should. It drives down the road straight steers easily with no wheel wobble funny noises or issues. I believe the engine to be original with a 11/67 build date but haven't looked on back of block. Their has been some recent brake work including some lines. The exhaust looks to be new.
Cosmetically the paint job still has a good shine and looks good from 15' but when you get close you can see various chips and scratches andsome bubbles on passenger rear quarter a small spot under rear of door on rocker. The driver's side just has one small area under door on rocker. There has been a new passenger front floor board section installed as well as some new trunk floor work. The gaps are pretty good and doors shut well. The white vinyl top has a few small bubbles in front by windshield and a few down drivers side edge. Both bumpers looked to have been re chromed. The wheels are 15" magnum 500's with a decent set of radial tires. The tinted glass is in good condition with the exception of a small crack in windshield. The stainless is all there with just a few small dings here and there.
The interior is in mostly original condition with a new green carpet installed after the new floor pan. The back seat has a split in the seam. All the windows roll up and down well and also meet well to each other. All the gauges work except the temperature gauge.. a few small holes in green headliner.
All in all this is a decent car that can be driven now or restored while driving. I would welcome inspections and strongly suggest you do so. At the very least call me and I will give you good honest answers. 636 219 7298 Bill
