Car description

A chance to own a unique one-of-a-kind multiple national show winning car that has been featured in a few magazines! Do not bid unless you want to command loads of attention and win lots of show trophies! This car has won at Carlisle several times, on at the Mopar Nationals (now the nats), ockingham, oodguys Southeast Nationals, opar Madness and Mopars with Big Daddy Don Garlits to name a few. It was also awarded Best Extreme Modified at the Chrysler World Finals in 2010. It was on the cover of the 2011 Mopar Collector's Guide with a feature story inside. It has also appeared in Mopar Action, opar Muscle and the Goodguys Gazette. She always draws a crowd and has brought home numerous best in show awards. I don't really want to see her go but personal issues are leading me to find her a new home. Now for the details: The engine is a 440 bored .030 with 8.2 compression pistons and a 671 supercharger with 2 QFT 750 carbs. The 4 speed Hemi 833 transmission is shifted with a pistol grip shifter and puts power to the ground through the narrowed Dana 60 with 355 gearing. She is a blast to drive and runs as good as she looks! The exhaust has a mean throaty sound and turns heads constantly. The headers are TTI big tube stainless with 4" collectors. The collectors, flex pipes, ntermediate pipes and mufflers are all 3" Stainless. The rear pipes are galvanized 3" with Stainless tips. There is an electric cut-out in the crossover pipe. The brakes are all Wilwood disc with a line lock up front. The suspension is factory torsion bar up front with a ladder bar 3 link and coil overs in the rear. The wheels are Coys one piece aluminum 18x8s in the front and 20x15s with a 12" lip in the rear. The tires are Mickey Thompson sport radials (rears are 29/20/15). The frame was moved in 2" on each side and mini tubs installed. It is also tied to the front with sub frame connectors. She still retains a complete back seat. A factory gas tank was split and modified to fit the suspension. The underneath is detailed and the quality of craftsmanship is apparent throughout. There has never been any rust or body damage to this car. The only body work is in the hood hole to fit the blower. I am the third owner and she has been garaged always. The interior is the factory installed blue bench seats, arpet, eadliner and door panels. A new dash pad cover was installed and a custom stereo and gauge pod with Autometer gauges. Everything works as it should and a complete new wiring harness was installed in 2010 as well. There are no disappointments with this machine however, t is a 40 year old car and is not 100 % perfect...no car is. I strongly encourage potential buyers to come and look in person or have an agent inspect the car for you. This car is regularly driven to shows in an hour or so radius from my home but I do trailer to shows farther out. A custom trailer is available and can be negotiated to go with the car. No tire kickers and no free rides! Please be serious with your bids as they constitute a legal contract. I have represented the car honestly and expect the same in return. Please contact me if you have a feedback rating under 10 before bidding. The car is available locally as well and I reserve the right to end the auction early. A $1000.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of the winning bid with the balance in 10 days. I can store the car for a few months if necessary and can arrange delivery within 300 miles or so for an extra fee. I may be open to trades and a cash balance but only am interested in quality Mopars....no projects please. I can be contacted @540-580-6842 if you have any questions. Please do not ask for my reserve. It would cost well over six figures to build this car but I will let it go for about half of my investment. My loss is your gain. Thanks, andy
