1969 Dodge Charger General Lee. This is a driver quality car that is not perfect. Itlooks great from a distance but there are flaws that are apparent up close. It is a project car, please understand this fact. I bought it with good intentions of completely rebuilding it, ut nowfind that I dont have the time. It runs, rives, nd stops decent. Engine runs ok, s a 318 from a1985 Chrysler Fifth Ave, ransmission is professionally rebuilt in May 2015 - is a 904 with shiftkit.- small transmission fluid leak after car returned from local mechanic - so Im sure its aline or something super simple. Drive train solid.I did confirm the casting date on the block. From researching it, understand this is a rollercam engine with fast burn type heads. New dual exhaust and tires. Wheels are 10 spokeVectors with spacers/adapters. Master power key switch with pushbutton ignition. Steering ismanual.Interior : has non-stock racing seats that in my opinion need replaced with stock seats. Backseat is stock and needs recovering. Guages, adio, urn signals, orn, ipers are not hookedup. Has small rust hole in driver floor pan - for a complete restoration, river floor pan will needto be replaced - easy fix when non-stock seats removed. Somewhere down the road I wouldput another trunk pan in for completeness, hough is still solid.Exterior: body is pretty straight. Driver door needs minimal adjustment in alignment with bodyon handle side of door,(for looks) -opens / closes very easily and without any difficulty. There issome non-stock/non-professional metal and filler patching in the trunk, ail panel (from a '70Charger as seen in pics), nd rear fenders/quarters, am told. Needs lower - rear window trim,or rescure existing. Also left leaf spring needs replaced.Work I have completed on The General:edelbrock 600 4 bbl carbedelbrock alum high performance intake, replaced all of front end / steering partsreplaced 4 shocksreplaced timing cover/ oil pan gasket/ chg oil / water pump gasketsreplace plugs, ires, ir intakeclean, aint, nd replace valve coversreplace alternator bracket / beltrebuild transmission w/ shift kitreplace heater corereplace heater hosesreplace radiator hoses (upper / lower)replace fuel line under hoodreplace thermostatchange oil in rear differentialujoints in drive shaft checked - new. Will need a new windshield due to a few cracks and leaks.Passenger side floor had been patch welded but not professionally.
