1979 Dodge Step Side Pickup Little Red Express Clone (tribute) Project Truck showing 46,302 miles offered with . by Gas Monkey Garage! Now when Wheels For Wishes called and said a Little Red Express was donated to them I was excited, owever the VIN didn’t check out as a real Little Red Express (D13JE9S130350) but instead as a 318 2 BBL V8 that someone had tried to outfit to look like the real deal. After taking a closer look at the truck what I found was a pretty solid and straight body that didn’t look bad and was fairly rust free (see all pics). The previous owner had done a lot of little personal touches such as an overhead console that is included but not shown in the pics and some “custom” switches that are of unknown function. The interior is fairly complete and would benefit from some elbow grease and TLC! Underside pics reveal a fairly solid chassis with minimal superficial rust present on most components (again, ee all pics!) The engine appears to be complete but as this was donated to the Wheels For Wishes Foundation (Make A Wish Foundation) it doesn’t have the correct keys with it so we have made no attempt to start it or assess any of the mechanical aspects of this truck and as such it is sold AS IS/ WHERE IS (and due to our filming schedule we cannot perform any additional work on this truck). Also it has a Texas title showing Wheels For Wishes as the owner, owever it was branded as a salvage vehicle because they did not receive keys with it either so please bid accordingly!.
