The Dodge Colt was a collaborative captive import between Chrysler and Mitsubishi meant to compete with the fuel sippingJapanese cars that were quickly gaining popularity in the United States in the mid-1970's. Originally assembled in Kurashiki, kayama, apan as the Mitsubishi Galant, nd badged as the Dodge Colt in the U.S., t was a huge hit as soon as it hit American shores. We just purchased this Colt from the previousolder Washington State owner and as you can tell it was his pride and joy for sure !! It was bought BRAND NEW at Northside Dodge, nc. in Spokane, ashington on March 21, 977 as seen on the original warranty information booklet and has been in that area until we recently brought the car to Idaho. You can now own aVERY NICE Classic Dodge Colt that is gettingVERY hard to find and only has 39,741 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since it was brand new according to the previous owner howeverwe don't reallyhave haveany way to prove it. Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by aSMOOTH - "TorqueFlite" - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL - FACTORYORIGINAL !!- Black Vinylwith Faux Wood Grainaccents, ucket seat interior is in NICE condition with NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl reclining front bucket seats with factory headrests showing some imperfections, ERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Black Vinyl door panels, ERY NICE ORIGINAL Colt steering wheel, ood ORIGINAL Black vinyl dash pad with several small cracks and some warping, ICE ORIGINAL Black carpeting, ERY NICE ORIGINAL Black and Faux Wood Grain dash, ERY NICEORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, ood ORIGINAL Black Vinyl rear bench seat that is showing some imperfections, ood ORIGINAL White vinyl headliner showing some separation, ICE ORIGINAL White Vinyl sun visors and the VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black and Faux Wood Grain accented shifter center console.
