1971 Dodge D200 Camper Special pickup ¾ ton pick-up, riginated in California and spent much of its life there. It sports the original paint and the faded look that is now over 40 years in the making. The body is extremely solid and straight, ut it is the original paint and body from 1971. The odometer shows 80,000 miles and I believe this can be accurate. The trim is nice and all intact. The interior has the rubber floor mat and two bucket seats. Not sure if the seats are original to the truck, ut they look like they belong. Small rip in passenger seat, ut still presentable. Everything works, auges, ights, eat, ftermarket tach and 3 gauge set up, D player with mp3, wo door speakers and a speaker in the custom built center console. The truck came with a 383 but now has a rebuilt 400 big block with mildly ported 346 heads, illed .060 and with shim head gasket to increase compression to around 8.5-1, omp xe268 hydraulic flat tappet cam, ouble roller timing chain, elling hv oil pump, indage tray, luminum water pump and housing, olley Street Dominator intake, delbrock 750 carb with electric choke, P electronic ignition with orange box, sd blaster coil, ini starter, oated hooker headers and 3" exhaust out back. The engine runs great, as plenty of power, nd can idle all day and stays cool...and sounds awesome! The trans is a 727 auto that shifts great and has 2400 converter. Out back it has a Dana rear end with 3.54 gears. The suspension is stock with newer kingpins and rides nice for an old truck. It has manual steering and power drum brakes. The bed has a nice thick rubber bed cover so you can (literally) throw whatever you want back there and won't worry about it damaging the floor. The bed has lots of scratches and dings from years of use, ut its very solid. This is a great running, ye catching cool old truck that needs nothing to cruise, rive daily, r pull your old muscle car. The original rear bumper is not mounted, ut goes with the truck - it weighs a ton and would need to be blasted and repainted. I think the truck looks better without it, ut that's just me. My reserve is reasonable and I am also listing this truck locally, o I reserve the right to end this auction early. Feel free to call me if you have any questions at 773-426-6006. Thank you!
