Car description

1967 Dodge Dart GT

The time has come to find a new owner for this Dodge. I've owned the car since 1994/5 and am the second person to ever title it. It has approx. 73,000 original miles but I recently swapped out the gauges for nicer looking ones. Still have the originals though. Originally a slant 6, utomatic true GT bucket seat console car. Original color is teal with Pearl white interior. Now it is a 360 4bbl engine with an A833 4 speed and 8 3/4 sure grip. Manual steering and front disc brakes. Trim along the sides has been removed however they are included. Everything is either new or redone. New items installed include:

68 Formula S 340 K-frame, new motor mounts, nbsp;Zoom clutch, new clutch linkages, estored 4 speed pedal set up, uper stock springs, ig block torsion bar, TI stainless headers, ll four new shocks, new Edelbrock 650 cfm manual choke, ypes stainless dual exhaust, tainless exhaust tips, new windshield, new windshield gasket with trim converted to 68 clip style, new Hurst shifter with rare console handle, ll new weather-stripping, eadliner, arpet, eck carpet, ront and rear Kicker speakers, eater core, adiator, attery, tarter, lternator, ront disc brake conversion with all original Mopar parts, lectronic ignition conversion Mopar Performance orange box, new plugs, ires, ront calipers and pads, ear drums and brake hardware, aster cylinder, estored dash panels, riginal am radio, riginal GT re-dyed door panels, new door handles inner and outer, rmrests, oor sills, rake lines front to rear, new emergency brake cable, Stewart Warner retro tach, il and temp gauges, new heavy duty inner and outer tie rods and sleeves, estored grille, new headlight moldings and hood trim. All new bulbs, E Hemi hood scoops from a Coronet. Restored 14 inch rallye rims (no trim rings) with very good Cooper Cobras.

Front performance bucket seats in it now are custom fit and are out of a SAAB. I have the original GT front bucket seats to include as well but they need recovering. Rear seat is the original GT bench but has been re-covered in a black leather slip cover (original ripped cover and emblems are beneath). All original floors. Has had a professional weld repair on rear frame at both bumper locations and some patches on front fenders and on front lower qtrs. Custom full squared frame connectors welded in, nd custom made traction bars of the 60's MOPAR era. Has had only one repaint which is a driveway job Summit blue metallic. The bodywork should have been block sanded prior to the paint more in my opinion but it what it is- a DIY paint job. The under carriage and engine bay has been sandblasted, tched, rimed, nd painted a single stage paint at the start of the restoration over 15 years ago so it is a different shade than the blue metallic. The 8 ¾ is not original and is a wider base than the usual A-body and has the larger 11 inch drums. Leaf springs relocated inwards 3 inches. All lights work as do the wipers. The backup lights are toggle operated on the console.

This Dart needs some tinkering to be perfect. I don't know the mileage on the engine block or what it has for a cam or head work. It does sound very nice at idle. I can't get the speedo cable nut to start and stay on the tranny. Brakes should be adjusted. The new Edelbrock is out of the box and on the car so it needs adjusting and the timing should be revamped. I will include several extra front bumpers (one chrome) and a power brake booster master cylinder with the car.

If you know MOPARS then you know that these Darts 67-69 are HOT! This car drives like an old car...meaning manual steering and manual brakes...so don't expect something super tight.

Serious bidders only- the winning bid is a legal contract. I have a clean Massachusetts Title issued in 1995. I will not ship the car. The car will not be released until all funds are cleared.
