Do you want to be a hero when you pull in to your local Home Depot, r hardware store? If you answered yes, ou need this truck.I bought this truck 4 years ago. 3 years ago I pulled it into the shop and did a Chevy S-10 frame swap, nd put a V8 into it. When doing this build I replaced the whole brake system, ads rotors, hoes, rums, heel cylinders, alipers, rake lines, nd master cylinder. ALL of it.Then I put a junkyard engine in it, nd a good used transmission I got from a friend. This powertrain got me 8000 miles and 2 years. Then this spring I went back through the truck and rebuilt it right.....The spring I had a 383 stroker professionally built by a local engine builder, ora Motorworks. This 383 stroker is old skool and uses the connecting rods and crankshaft from a small block 400. The rest of the internals are 350. I picked out a vintage Weiland single plane intake manifold, nd put an Edelbrock carburetor on it. There is 3000 miles on the new engine, nd the oil has been changed 3 times. I use Rotella oil. The engine has all new accessories. New alternator, ater pump, uel pump, tarter, EI distributor, park plugs, nd wires. All of it is new.The transmission is a TH350. It is a good used trans that I picked up from a good friend of mine. I put a shift kit in it, nd there is a transmission cooler mounted to the radiator. The filter and fluid are new.The driveshaft is a new one, uilt for the application. The rear end is original to the late 90's S-10 frame. It has 3:73 gears, nd it is in good shape.Wheels are smoothies painted with House of Kolors paint. The tires were new from the original build 3 years ago. So they have about 10,000 miles on them. Front tires are fair. They have some wear from bad tie rods. The rear tires are good and have plenty of tread.Speak of bad tie rods. The tie rods that caused the front tire wear have been replaced now. The idler arm was replaced. And the truck was computer aligned. The body was left as original as possible. There is rust, ut the body is pretty solid overall. There is awesome patina all over this thing. The hood was all scratched up by a tree for years, he paint is faded and worn, nd even missing in some spots. There are not a whole lot of dents and dings, he body is pretty straight. The worst rust is the passenger side floor of the cab. There are some holes, ut not Flinstones size holes. I welded in some sheetmetal to cover them up. The widnshield and door windows are cracked. The door window regulators work, hey roll up and down just fine, ut they are cracked. The curved rear window is in great shape. All the bugs have been worked out of this thing. It needs nothing. You can hop in a drive this thing across the country. Before the new engine I drove this thing from Minneapolis to St Louis and back, nd I have made several trips to Duluth. It is powerful, nd super fun to drive. If you have any more questions, lease give me a call. I built this thing from the ground up, o I can tell you about every nut, olt, art, nd weld. 763 234 0441Truck has clear Minnesota title.
