1973 Pantera DeTomaso super carAll steel conversion.Front to back this Pantera has received one of a kind world class upgrades.Rear of vehicle has been redesigned with Shelby taillights, chrome DeTomaso emblem, repositioned factory chrome bumpers, and body inset exhaust ports....this redesign is a work of art and ALL STEEL
Underneath the rear bonnet lies a 425hp 351 Cleveland with the legendary BUNDLE OF SNAKES 180 DEGREE EXHAUST SYSTEM .... 3 inch exhaust from header collector to exit port, ultimate flow. THE BUNDLE OF SNAKES EXHAUST when properly routed cause a v8 ford engine to sound like a European super car motor. Anyone who has heard this car cannot believe it's an American v8 engine.A full 100hp nitrous system is routed and functional to move this vehicle to 525hp....however it has never been used on this vehicle as it is quite fast without it....but take a look at the 2 nos tanks mounted on either side of exhaust when you pop the bonnet .....one of the most devastating visual impacts of any engine compartment is on this car.
Moving to the targa conversion. The targa top was handled by Newport convertibles. The owner is one of the most brilliant automotive engineers in the world and he personally handled the structural redesign necessary for a removable targa top on a monoque body. An x brace now anchors the body underneath and lowers body by 1 1/4 inches improving handling and stability over a stock Pantera .You have not experienced life until you drive a topless Pantera with this unreal exhaust note ... Gone are the noisy cabins and gas smell associated with poorly done panteras...the wind is in your hair and you are surrounded by a sea of cell phones attempting to film you as you go bye...driving this car is like being a rock star..you have to see it to believe it.
The additional conversion items were handled by the Pantera masters at PANTERA INTERNATIONAL. I have never met a more skilled group of experts on Panteras and this vehicle is proof of their expertise.
Interior has been tastefully redefined into the now...touchscreen, ac/heat, Bluetooth etc..while taking great strides to preserve the factory racing heritage. I believe it to be one of the finest redesigns of a Pantera interior to date.....still period correct with tasteful upgrades. Stock gauges including the rare clock option are present. Added in is a NOS gauge done up as a stock veglia gauge to monitor the nitrous with drawing undo attention.
Moving to the front end .The bug eye headlights have been removed and the flip up motor unit has been inverted and outfitted with updated halo lights that reside in the blacked out grill vent area. All the bumpers were stripped off and the remaining stock metal design was enlarged and sharpened in its shape giving an updated front design that grabs everyone's attention...again. This is an ALL STEEL CONVERSION
The wheels and flares are group 4 race car inspired and MASSIVEthe tires are the same size in the rear as found on the newer 911 turbo s modelsThe aluminum campognolo wheels are custom built and the kind of deep only found on race cars of the day..combined with the massive flares, this Pantera commands attention, wether you are standing still or flying down the highway. Complete new rewire of entire car from front to back, brand new NOS front rack and pinion were handles by the mid engine masters at renegade hybrid in Las Vegas nv......no expense was spared in finding the finest automotive artists to attend to any area of this car that was looked after.........this car is turn key, beautiful and ready to be unleashed on the roads and shows around the country or flown over to Europe to move on the autobahn.
