1957 Desoto Firesweep Sportsman 2 door hardtop Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Mopar

Been in my family since 1958 I have a clear Oklahoma title to this car. It has been sitting for many years but in the dry climate of Western Oklahoma. First the good. solid doors. solid roof. solid trunk lid . solid trunk floor. solid fenders. solid inner fenders. solid frame. all trim minus one piece is there. all interior is there including a steering wheel better than the one on the car. The interior cloth is not on the frames as they were rotted and I took it off but the frames are very solid. all the glass is in the car and scratch free . windshield does have some bubbling between the sheets on the bottom. Has the original engine but ring locked on one cylinder. other seven cylinders fine and the locked on can probably be broken with some oil. But the good news is I am including another block that is in great shape. Car is a 2bbl but the additional engine is a 4bbl. original powerflight but included is a torqueflight from another 57 destoto with the push button shifter included. all the gages are there . original radio and even the key is there. Car has power steering and brakes. dual antennas. stone guards all desirable options. Chrome bumpers are driver quality but dent free for good rechrome. Although trim is off in some photos I have all the trim bar one piece on the right side in front of the tire. Ihave a friend that is making this piece for me. The bad. Floors are rusted and need replaced. Complete set of floor pans are available for this car for $400 for the sheetmetal. Minor rust in the skin only of the right rocker which can be patched. minor rust in the right quarter a little above the tire and in front of the tire but only would require small patching. minor rust in front of left rear only requiring small patch. Overall very soild car considering age. I will deliver this car on a line from Pensacola Fl to Oklahoma or within 350 miles of Pensacola anywhere else for my expenses only . gas etc. figure about 75 cents a mile to do that.
