1956 Desoto firedome conv, this Desoto is being offered for auction from a private collection. It had an complete restoration 10yrs ago. Since being purchased by the present owner has had multiple upgrades such as a complete fireflite leather and correct cloth interior, 4 barrel correct intake carb and air cleaner, new electron canvas top. Extensive detailing underside and engine bay plus numerous trim polishing. The car was mechanically restored and drives better than new it also has radial ww bf Goodrich tires. Everything works as it should. Car shows extremely well and could be shown or driven as is. As I'm sure any Desoto enthusiast knows production of conv Desotos is extremely low. I believe in the 600 cars for the entire year. So with that said these cars are very rare and finding one in this condition turn key is difficult and restoring one expensive.
