1981 Delorean DMC-12 manual 30,641 miles

Here we have for sale a 1981 Delorean DMC-12. low reserve set. very good condition for its age with a low 30,641 miles. this car has been garage kept with the exception of one month this past year when the gargae was being renovated. has had the same owner for the past 12 years and has rarely been driven. only 500 miles have been put on the car in the past 12 years. all the stainless steel is in very good condition. no dings or dents. All door, trunk, engine cover pistons are strong. starts up and runs very well and shifts through all gears smoothly. It has had the hot/cold intake chaged out to a straight intake pipe, but the original hot/cold intake is included. The car has an idle hunt when cold that goes away within 30-60 seconds after start (from what i have read this is very common and has to due with the O2 sensors warming up). brake pedal is stiff but they still stop the car just fine. radio and power antenna work. Two small stress cracks on the instrument cluster bezel. the trip reset button is broken, but all the gauges seem to function as they are meant to. Both windows work and the radio, including the automatic antenna, work. The carpet has some stains that should come up with carpet cleaner and the headliner has some sags. car has a musty smell from sitting in the garage. other than that the interior is in very good condition. The rear tires still hold air and drive fine, but are dry-rotted. front tires are in good condition.In the past month these things have been replaced.Battery.Engine cover pistons.Wiper blades.
