This listing is for my 67 Datsun SPL311/1600 Roadster. I completed the restoration on it about 6 years ago and have put less than 2k miles on it. The car was taken down to bare metal and then painted with Lexus' Spectra Mica Blue paint in base/clear then cut and buffed to a high shine. It has been garage kept since its re-spray and the paint is a solid 8/9 out of 10. I did not pull a Chip Foose and skim coat the entire car so there are some waves in the body as the sheet metalis over 40 years old. There is some filler on the car but it is a fiberglass filler and hasn't shrunk or cracked in6 years of beingin the Las Vegas heat. The body work is not perfect but the car shows incredibly well. The interior was replaced during the restoration and is in like new condition. The low back seats were professionally recovered, new 8 piece carpet kit was put in as well as sound deadening material, new door cards, nd interior panels were installed as well as a brand new dash pad. Every piece of weather stripping and rubber was replaced on the car. Everything that was chrome was re-chromed and still looks incredible! I even had the interior pulls and window cranks chromed. All new twisties/posties were put on for the soft top and a new stayfast top was installed with a matching boot to cover it when it is down. I put comp springs in the front and new shocks all around. The brakes were completely rebuilt front and back and work great. The engine is not the original but is an R16 and in great running condition. I have a Champion Cooling aluminum radiator in it and the original fan and shroud. I put in East Coast Roadsters electronic distributor for easy staring and to eliminate the points system. The fuel system was completely flushed and an electric fuel pump was mounted in lieu of the stock manual one. The exhaust is all new with a flex piece between the manifold and exhaust. It has a period correct Autopower roll bar that has 1/2 thick backing plates under the car so it is mounted securely. The stock gauges were replaced with Autometer gauges. The tach bounces a little bit and the fuel gauge is off by a 1/4 tank due to not matching the stock sending units ohms. It has an aftermarket steering wheel that is much smaller so I could fit in the car w/o the steering wheel being right in my lap. I had an aftermarket radio put in that has a USB port located in the glove box. It has a set of 15 inch Rota RB wheels with Kumo Exacta tires on it in lieu of the stock wheels.I am located in Las Vega, evada so you can come by to view the car if you would like. Please ask as many questions as you like. I will help coordinate shipping but it is ultimately your responsibility to make those arrangements.
