1976 Datsun Pickup

Relisted at Reduced Price!Up for auction is a 1976 Datsun pickup. This was part of my father's estate and he had owned it for over 15 years. He drove it off a show room floor and drove it home and it's been sitting for most of the time since then. The gas tank was drained and the gas was replaced with diesel fuel to keep the tank from corroding. Since then I have had the diesel drained and have put gas back in it. It starts up and runs great! This is a beautiful truck and is almost completely original as you will see from the pictures. It has a Rhino liner in the bed that is red to match the paint. The topper is mounted by screws into the top of the bed. The rear bumper is simply bolted on so that can be removed very easily if you would like to make it look more original. It comes with a homemade front bumper to match the rear which has been removed. It also comes with running boards and the ORIGINAL WHEELS AND TIRES. The rims have been repainted to match the original paint color as best as I could find. The only other things that have been added cosmetically are the side mirrors and painted brake drums. You will notice that the mirrors have been screwed directly into the side of the door. There is red tap between the mirror brackets and the paint of the door to eliminate any scratches or rust. Although if the mirrors are removed there will be small holes in the door. That is the only downside that I can think of about the extras added to this pickup. I would like to stress that this IS a brand new truck with only 12k miles on it. The odometer has NOT rolled over the 100k mark. There is no rust on the under side of this truck. It hasn't been driven enough for that to happen. It is ready to drive and will make a great addition to anyone's garage.
