Car description

NO RESERVE!! High bid wins!! 1972 FJ 40 Landcruiser Chevrolet 350 V8 4 Barrel Carb Good Tires Custom Roll cage Custom Seats Clean California Title in Hand Ready to go anywhere right now. Clean enough to drive everyday. tough enough for any trail. mud. snow. rocks. etc. I have been driving FJ40’s for many years. I bought this FJ in 2007 and restored it as a gift for my Father-in-law. who lives in Southern California. When I bought the FJ it had already had a V8. I purchased a crate motor (Chevy 350) and installed it. I had new carpet installed and had the seats restored. It has the aftermarket heavy duty leaf springs and it sits a little higher than stock. When I gave the FJ to my Father-in-law in 2008 it looked and ran like a new rig. He has driven the FJ once otr twice a week since he got it and has taken it hunting a couple of times. He called me a few month ago and told me that he does not drive it often enough to justify insuring it and paying registration so I had it shipped to Texas. the rig has about 20. 00 miles since it was restored. I already have a 1977 FJ in my garage and really don’t need another one. This is a very nice. solid rig. You will see some rust along the edge of the top. that is the only place you will see it. That top was not originally on that FJ. The previous owner bought the top sometime after 2002 and installed a sunroof in it. it was a used top. I've looked at a lot of FJ’s over the years. I built one for myself. one for each of my oldest two boys and even built one for my wife. I spent a long time looking for a solid rig when I bought this one back in 2007. it’s a good one. This rig is not in California! It is in New Braunfels. Texas. You are welcome to come inspect it. I am selling the FJ as a true “no reserve auction”. I know there is a risk in selling it this way but I figure that I will get whatever the FJ is really worth this way. Please don’t send me a message and ask what my reserve is. there is no reserve. If you want to make a fair offer to buy the Jeep. or trade before the auction ends. I will consider that as long as we have agreed before the final 24 hours of the auction. I will not end the auction early if it is within 24 hours of completion. I’m sure I am forgetting stuff. I’ll take additional pictures on request. Feel free to come and inspect it in person. I am in New Braunfels Texas. If you are the winning bidder you must pay a deposit of $500 within 24 hours after the auction has ended and the balance must be paid within 5 days. No Reserve !! High bidder wins!
