Car description

1982 Datsun 280ZX: This is NOT a 2+2 car; it is the more desirable 2 seat model. I purchased this car from my late Uncle's Estate in early 2019. My Uncle was the original owner of the car. He purchased it new locally (Cleveland, Ohio) in July 1982. I have the original window sticker and bill of sale that will go with the sale. The car was only used as a recreational vehicle on weekends, during nice weather-never in snow, so this means no rust. It was never a daily driver. It was also rustproofed when new. The car currently has almost 37k original miles. It's a French Beige Metallic (#29) exterior color with a maroon velour interior. It's original, including the L28E engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Options include: p/s, p/b, p/w, a/c, factory Blaupunkt Stereo and T-Tops. A list of most of the work done recently, after I had a Nissan dealer review the car: new-clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, battery, oil and filter, air filter, wiper blades, hatch struts, headliner, reconditioned rims, muffler, coolant flush, plugs and wires, strut rod bushings, rear struts-shocks, tires, alignment and all four wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. I have receipts for work I've had done on this car that will go with the sale. My paperwork also includes a 1997 professional appraisal showing 33,000 miles at that time, so the car has only had 4,000 additional miles put on it in the past 23 years. The appraisal will also go with the sale. All accessories work except for the fuel gauge, cassette play button and the a/c needs recharging. There's also quite a few spare parts that go with the car, including the fuel sender unit for the fuel gauge. I've been driving it weekly, weather permitting. It drives well as it's an original, throttle body, fuel injected car. I have the original gear shift knob for the car that will go with the sale, in case you don't like the shift knob in the pictures and the speaker shown on the console will not go with the car. (I use it for my iPod.) I also now have matching floor mats that will go with the car that are not showing in these pictures. As well, the original T-top bags and interior hatch cover go with the car, along with a hood-front-end bra. The title is clear. Please note: I will not sell this car without including the new owner's name and address on the title; no sign off and go sales. Serious potential buyers only. The car is located in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Local test drives are limited to weather permitting. No sales assistance services need to contact me please.
