A running project powered by its original inline-six and 4-speed manual transmission. Series 1 was believed to have been in California for most of its life. Complete and accompanied by several uninstalled parts and trim pieces, relatively new seat upholstery. Newer alternator and voltage regulator, new clutch master cylinder, and oil service. HasAM/FM radio and dealer-installed air conditioner, other accessories, controls, and gauges retain functionality. The five-digit odometer indicates 22,850 miles, with true mileage unknown. Needs complete brake work. Compression displays less than 5% difference across all cylinders. The engine stamping reads L24-1558 matching the data plate. This was a running and moving project up until June of 2018 when it was purchased by the last (now deceased) owner who began a complete restoration in its original colorMonte Carlo Red (905). The rear defrost is the early vertical style. Though complete and exceptional solid, it will need a complete restoration and is not currently road worthy. Additional pics available upon request.
