Car description

RELISTED DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDER cmax0417 who after winning gave the following excuse "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, however, we did not intend to make an offer on this car. We are confused as well as you are. We petition your forgiveness and hope we can all move forward". I thought I had heard them all. Geez, that mouse didn't click itself 16 times! Because of this event, I have enhanced the terms. If you have less than 10 feedbacks, you must contact me with your full name, address, phone number and a statement indicating that you have read and understand the Terms and ConditionsBEFORE BIDDING or your bid may be canceled. In a nutshell: You bid, you win, you PAY. Time is of the essence as I am moving and need the car gone, which is why it is being sold with NO RESERVE!!!

NO RESERVE !!! Car willsell to the highest bidder, regardless of price. Please bid only if you ready, willing and able to complete the sale according to the Terms and Conditions listed below. Please read EVERY WORD of the description so there are no misunderstandings. Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding. There are 48 pictures below, I suggest looking at them on a computer. Thank you and Good Luck!

Up for auction is my 1983 Datsun 280ZX GL Coupe. This was the last year of the 280ZX and the straight six OHC engine. It is a non-turbo and completely stock except for the Turbo wheels. Also has a high end Blaupunkt cassette deck and CD changer that I paid over $600 for in the early '90's. I have owned this car for over 25 years. THE CAR DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE. It has not been driven since 2007. At the time the car was parked, it ran and drove well. In a former life I was a Nissan technician for 15 years and did a lot of regular maintenance in the 50k miles I drove it. I stopped driving it because the AC compressor froze up and the exhaust manifold gasket was leaking at the rear. Well, I moved on to other vehicles and shamefully I never got around to doing anything with it. The fuel system is now gummed up. Alsothe body has developedsome significant rust as can be seen in the pictures. This Z is probably best suited for parts use, there's tons of usable good stuff. I would say with certainty that the transmission, rear end and awesome Turbo wheels could be used as they are. The original upholstery and door panels are not too bad for their age.The engine is probably OK too but I would go through it before using to be sure. The carwould need to be gone through completely if you wanted to put it back on the road.Nothing has been tested nor will it be, so keep this in mind when bidding. The brakes are sticking but the wheels will roll if you drag it, so it can be loaded for transport with a winch.
