My name is Al Rivera. I am a broker, and represent the seller. A local family member from the estate of a deceased private collecto, contacted me, to sell this car. I have taken pictures of this magnificent time machine with my digital camera. The photos have not been photo shopped, or manipulated for this presentation. The pictures represent just how it looks.
I have the pleasure to present a 1983 Datsun 280ZX turb, which is one of the last of the three vehicles in the collection that will be listed on ebay at the same time. This Datsun 280ZX turbo has withstood the test of time and is considered a classic.
This auction represents the red 1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo. As you well know, the 280ZXwas the hero and flagship of the Datsun/Nissan empire. It set the world on fire, with such a car, not only for the American Market but, also, the world market,
This Datsun 280ZX Turbo carries 98,089 original miles on the odometer. That puts it at 2,802 miles a year, 234 miles a month. As you can see, it has done quite well for the last 35 years. The Turbo looks new and works well, you can feel the power, when driving.This is a one owner car and was purchased at a local sunny southern California dealership, called Torrance Nissan, when new in 1983.
This particular classic has a very high quality re-paint. It has been re-painted the same Datsun red and really seems to shine. Also noted they installed the factory pin striping on the sides. Interior is the original nice velour matching throughout. Air conditioning, is as, cold as ice. Original stereo and cassette player seem to work fine. I can almost here the Bee Gees singing out of the speakers. This Datsun 280ZX comes with T-Tops, however, the T-Top covers are not attached, but available. Did note a little rust on the exterior of the right side T-Top. Some minor scratches and chips have been noted. Clean title is on hand. There is one big plus, the car has always been garaged all these years.
The engine and transmission have been serviced. The brakes have been replaced. Original owners manual is placed in the glove box, where it has been since new. This Datsun 280ZX came with the factory analogue dashboard gauges and in all working condition. Has never been smoked in, or driven in harsh weather. All maintenance was completed through the local dealership. The family are searching for the service records as we speak.
