Car description

Up for sale is my beloved 78 280z. You will be hard pressed to find a lower mileage, more original museum piece like this. As I said this is an original, unmolested, unmodified time machine. This is the last of the first body styles and prices for one like this (if you can find one) are skyrocketing. This is your chance to own a real piece of history only going up in value. You will find cheaper ones but none better.
I'm the 3rd owner of this vehicle and has only been in 2 families. The original owner owned this car from new until around 2009 when it came to our family. It's been garage kept it's entire life and shows a true 19k mi. (not a rolled over 19k as most others you will find). This car is all original minus things like belts, hoses, brake pads, tires.
This Z runs beautiful, no smoke or noises. Mated with a 4 speed manual transmission. No power steering, windows or locks this is a drivers car. This is the original 110 red paint code (pretty much a dark orange) not to be confused with 905 red and 918 orange. It also still sports the original pin-striping. Body is untouched and has a few dings from bicycles and whatnot from 40 years of garage storage. This also comes with the original stereo and is an a/c car (needs recharge). This also comes with the factory hubcaps which can be very hard to find (most were thrown away for replacement rims or lost). All fluids have been replaced with proper factory specs. (oil, coolant, differential, clutch and brake).Tires and brakes pads were replaced about 200 miles ago. Pictured is the original, unused spare, jack and tool kit (tool kit still has paper from Nissan listing tools).
All interior is untouched and looks like the day it rolled off the showroom floor. No cracks or damage of any kind. All gauges work, yes, even the clock. All lights and buzzers work. All rubber and felt around the windows, windshield, back glass, hood, hatch and doors is as new, no cracking or damage of any kind.
I've listed the most descriptive pictures I could. I have many more and would be happy to send any perspective buyers more on request. I also welcome any potential buyers to look at the vehicle in person prior to purchase. It is truly an amazing piece and would make any owner very proud.

Thank You for taking the time to look at my auction and this wonderful car.
