Car description

1981 Datsun
280z Turbo
2 seater
AZ CAR

This was owned by an adult lady for over 20 yrs.
About 6 yrs ago the AC had alot of new parts
installed, and worked great, soon after that the car
quit running while she was pulling into her driveway
into her carport, where it sat for the last
5 yrs. Most likely due to fuel pump or relay related
problem, it was NOTHING catastrophic, she said it
just felt like it ran out of gas. She decided to just
keep it parked for a while in the carport and bought
another car to drive till she decided to get it back
on the road. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when
we got the car. We drained what was left in the tank
and installed a nice quality NEW: fuel pump, some new
rubber fuel lines, fuel filter but still not start. I dont
think its getting power to the pump while cranking it.
I have too many other projects to get to so decided to
sell it as is. I know the drivetrain has no major problems
and the motor, trans and rearend are all fine.
If it doesnt sell, Ill finish fixing it and then relist it.
Super clean body with what looks to be original paint.
The bottom and underbody are 95% rot or rust free.
ONLY place I found rust was the bottom of the spare
tire area and around the windshield frame.
Rest of the car is as solid as can be, not even bubbles.

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Id prefer NO PAYPAL to be honest. Email me first before
you bid if thats your only option. We bank with BofA
which is easy for most buyers.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: great body - decent interior
still for an AZ car / tires are old / think the only
mod I was able to find was the radio not stock.
Original paint, ven dull from age, means no previous
rot rust or accident repairs. Az has done some toll
on some of the rubber and plastics of course.

Check out the pics and more info below...thanks

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.
WANNA BUY IT NOW ? SURE, shoot me a fair offer

DRIVETRAIN: the factory 6cyl Turbo set up is
very clean and original looking under the hood.
AGAIN: new fuel pump, filter and some fuel lines installed.
But its not road ready yet or running. Motor turns over
fine, but not sure if the fuel pump is kicking on.
Factory AC car w/ many new AC parts installed about 6 yrs
ago, but have little to no miles on them.
4 wheel disc and factory Turbo 15" alloy rims.
Tires are pretty dry rotted.

INTERIOR: take a look, Az heat has done some heat and
normal wear n tear damage. Dash isnt too bad, and front
seats are actually in great shape. Rest of it needs work.
PW car and has factory AC too. Zero rust on the floors and
or rockers. 113k on the odometer, shows original miles
on the AZ title. Factory options like PW, and much more.
T Tops do not leak, but with so little rain in Az it probably
doesnt matter, not to mention the cars been in a carport
for many yrs too.

EXTERIOR:the body again, is VERY straight for its age.
Dent in the stock turbo hood is obvious. What I would
call minor rust and bubbling around the front windshield
frame. Its all fixable, but Im sure much worse on a car thats
lived its life in a humid state. Az is very dry and this car has
lived pretty much its whole life. Body lines look greatall around,
all the glass is in good shape. Tint on the windows is old.
Rear window louvers come with the car, just not currently
bolted on the car.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original
for its age. Its not restored, but probably be okay with a little
resto on the bushings etc. 4 wheel factory Disc all around is
all there and accounted for. I see normal wear n tear at best
and OEM components where they belong too.
I See zero signs of any rust or rot.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented Z cars

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you them
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what
surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you get it, which could be too late.
Meanwhile we go ALL over our cars and supply large
great pics to help making your decision easier.
Not to mention, our feedback is impeccable for over
15 yrs.
