TIRES/WHEELS: 6-lug wheels. Tires have only a few hundred miles on them. Usable spare underneath bed. 205/75R14 tires.
STEERING/SUSPENSION: Steering is good, no pull, shimmy or wander. Ride is a little rough.
INTERIOR: All instruments, lights, switches, horn, fan working. Door panels fair, tho may not be original. Floor carpet pretty much gone. Ceiling panel gone, bare metal w/ black stuff/glue. Doors open/close, and lock, windows roll up and down. Window guides and door seals pretty much gone. Left visor missing.
EXTERIOR: Original light blue repainted w/ spray-can flat black (aargh). All windows intact. Crinkly on left front side of bed and also on front valence, see photos. Some surface rust in places but not bad, except front of bed; covered over with thick rubber mat. Front bumper slightly off.
DRIVETRAIN: Engine starts/runs well, no smoking, fairly smooth, good power, good compression, 30mpg. Have to let clutch out all the way, may need adjustment. Transmission good, tho shifter takes little getting used to. 4-speed transmision geared a bit low, but can cruise comfortably at 55+. Surprising power for 1300cc engine.
ISSUES: Other than what i have described above, really only one: once engine gets warmed up, oil pressure drops and engine starts to knock. Can then only go about 35mpg. I have added oil treatments which do help but do not solve problem. I drive it around at times but only short distances.
COMMENT: I have described everything i know about on this pickup, but buyer must recognize vehicle is over 50 years old, so you may find some other things.
EXTRAS: Delta cross-bed tool box NOT included. Buyer may purchase for $100. Includes 2 keys. Original bench seat available to buyer if desired, no charge. Needs reupholstering.
