I have for sale a 1973 Datsun 1200. This car has been my daily driver for several months now and has hauled me from Georgia to Maryland and finally to DC with multiple trips between the two as well as some trips up to Baltimore and even Pennsylvania. It has been driven plenty in the city during the summer and has never even given me a single issue with the cooling system. The car has given me no trouble and in the hands of someone with more time. a second car. and a little more know how than myself it could be an amazing piece of history to restore. The engine was rebuilt and most of the work on the car was done before I purchased it. The odometer was said to have been reset once the engine rebuild was completed. It now read just over 40. 00. As is the car is is all numbers matching. Most of the car is still original. it has been been repainted (the factory color). it currently sits on Rota 15's. and has been converted to an electronic ignition/choke system. The headliner has been redone. Everything else is original. I have the title. The inside of the car needs some work here and there. I do have new carpet for the car that is period correct cut and sewn along with sound deadening material to go underneath. I also have a gasket set to replace all of the top end gaskets. two shop manuals. the original manual for the car. and a few other things that will come with it. I have the original wheels and 3 of the hubcaps for them. I just changed the disc brake pads and brake hardware. As I said the car runs great and it doesn't need any major repairs. just several small things need to be done to make it perfect. There are barely any of these left it seems and I hate to part with it. I just need a more practical vehicle to do my day to day driving and that suites my life at the moment a bit better. I am also selling the vehicle local and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I am willing to meet you anywhere in the general DC/MD/VA area as long as it's reasonable. Buyer is responsible for arranging and payment for shipping. Please feel free to ask me any questions and I will do my best to try to answer them for you. Thanks.
