1965 Datsun SPL310 Fairlady,
This is a 1500cc, 4spd, I bought it from the original owner who bought it in 1965 and raced it until 1974 then put it in his barn until a couple of years ago when I bought it. I had great plans for it but I have way too many projects so I am getting rid of three or four of them so I can work on my 69 truck.
It does run and has a clear Oklahoma title, Black tag up to date
The good, it starts and runs, I have put all 4 new wheel cylinders, new master cyl, new rubber brake line, and a couple of the steel brake lines, new brake shoes, new master cyl, new line, new slave cyl for the clutch, electric fuel pump, cleaned the gas tank and lines, I have most of the chrome and bought extra tail lights and reflectors ( I gave $115 for them used) new water pump, thermostat, heater hose, plug wires, fan belt, and I’m sure I have forgot something.
The bad, the brakes need bled, the tranny makes noise in 1st gear (I have only driven it down the street in 1st gear since it has no brakes) the bumpers are beat all to piece’s, needs body work and paint, needs tires (they hold air but are bald) needs seats redone, the grill is not very good, etc. I have an extra starter out of the 1600
I have a tranny out of a 69- 1600cc but don’t know if it will fit or not. It came with a fiberglass top but the top is for the 1600 and 2000 roadsters. I also have the seats out of the 69 ( I have invested over $2500.00 in this little car but have lost interest in it)
AS IS-- WHERE IS, YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK IT UP OR MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR A SHIPPER ( I WILL HELP THE SHIPPER)
